Yesterday, my sister told me that New York is the centre of the world.
I remembered NTT DoCoMo's "Future-Experiment" (the website is in Japanese).
It seems like the world's (cultural) centre is invisible yet existent in our own imagination.

The country of technology, Japan aesthetically and ironically challenges cultural globalisation. The collaboration of modern technology and popular culture tells a different story of nationalism. #CoolJapan

Perfume is a J-POP female techno trio. All three of them are from Hiroshima Prefecture, in Japan. Their catchy songs and synchronised dance moves (in high heels!!) are their signature. Their performance, fashion, characters stand at attention internationally. Some of you may already know them.
Such a popular group now performs in three different cities, but at the same time.

...WHAT?
Biggest mobile phone operator in Japan, NTT DoCoMo started a project called "Future-Experiment" to promote its new products and superb 5G mobile technology. On Nov 8th it revealed the very first TV commercial titled "Eliminate the Distance" and it was simply awe-inspiring.
The trio Perfume performs individually for the first time. Ah-chan in Tokyo, Nocchi in New York and Kashiyuka in London. Yet, their movements are perfectly in synch as if they were together on stage.
"You are the centre" said my mum.
In 2018, where would you like to be?
